Did I put in too much motor oil?

I have a '95 Z28 (LT1). The manual prescribes adding 5 quarts. I bought a 5qt jug of mobil 1. I poured the whole thing in. I drove it around to get it hot and get the new oil filter filled up, came back home, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. I checked it, and it's between 1/8 and 1/4 of an inch above the F line. Is this enough over to cause problems? When people talk about overfilling oil, do they mean that it's like a whole quart overfilled, and like 1-2 inches above the F line? Will going slightly over cause problems?
