Questions about Gastric Byp Surgery?

Im 18 years old, a little over 300 pounds, my bmi is 48, and i read that to qualify for the surgery it should be at least 40. I have tried and tried to lose weight with diets and lifestyle changes and all that, but nothing works. I was thinking Gastric Byp surgery because i believe that will work, and i also believe that i will qualify for it, however, I live in Michigan and have medicaid. Are there any chances that Medicaid will cover, if not all, at least some of the costs?
