Is Congress trying to help the economy by bringing back the illegal moonshine biz?? 145% tax increase on beer?

As much as I hate all the ridiculous sin taxes, I almost hope a couple more consumer goods end up seeing crazy tax increases. The more people who are directly impacted by these insane policies, the more the outrage over them will grow. I think it's long past time that everyone wake up and realize how much of their income they're surrendering to embedded taxes. Maybe, just maybe some of them will begin to realize that it's not all about the *evil* corporations jacking up costs and robbing the consumer.
