What kind of degree is necessary?

I'm only in highschool, but I was just wondering what kind of degree is necessary to work at a magazine such as Teen Vogue or Seventeen, and do work similar to what Lauren Conrad does on The Hills & write articles for such magazines and what not. What would you have to major in to work in these fields? [By the way, I'm not trying to be like Lauren Conrad. I'm just trying to figure out what kind of career I want in the future & what she does seems interesting.]
