I filed a harrment report ;can I get unemployment in CA.?

a coworker aulted me.Witness didn't fully explain what happened so employer says they can"t terminate the person.My boss wouldn"t file the report even though I followed him for weeks & begged him & told him I was scared of person.He lied & SAID HE DID REPORT IT.I called HR & found out he did lie.HR says it"s 2 long after the incident.I am mortified.I can"t believe this could happen I"m petrified of my boss & this person.Would I get unemployment if I got fired ?
