Throughout my musical education, every violin teacher I've had has only asked me to practice major and melodic minor scales. I use the Flesch s that start on 2 on the . I now have to learn harmonic and natural minor scales, and I need to start on the same finger as I do for all my other scales. Flesch doesn't even have harmonic or natural minor scales in his book.
