Why do i suck at chinese so badly? (read thiss please!) question mark>?

okay so I go to a high school with a huge foreign exchange program. one day i wanted to randomly learn chinese almost 5 months ago. i started with you tube and books then asking questions from the kids from china. i practiced daily and mixed it with my latin cl really well without confusing the too. then suddenly i decided to continue trying to become fluent in spanish.i quit speaking chinese for 3 weeks(i was amazing at chinese) and now my pronunciation is not at all understandable and i forgot about 70% of the words i knew!
