Would you be opposed to governments placing a green tax on air travel?

I really doubt that there would ever be an end to your green taxes. It would start as a carbon tax. Next we need to tax lumber. Next we need a tax to save polar bears (I could go on for hours). There is only so much revenue that can be confied. We have already reached the level of diminishing returns. Taxes are ridiculously high. We pay half of what we earn with not much to show for it.
