How could millions of people be persuaded that Obama isn't actually American?

I hope, for pity's sake, that those of you who are so quick to make the racism accusation will end up with as much egg on your face as there is on the faces of the "birthers." I would have agreed completely with you if you were just going to say that the "birthers" don't know what the heck they are talking about. But then you ruined my ability to agree with you when you start saying that the birthers are using their arguments as "a proxy for racism."
