What's Your Opinion on Gastric Banding?

I am just wondering whether people think this surgery is a good or bad thing? Also i am wondering if anyone know's of any serious risks involved with this? It will be nice to see peoples feedback/opinions on this subject! Thankyou in Advance! =)
